TAS designs, develops, and manufactures ballistic glass / transparent armor for a multitude of platforms including: tactical and tracked ground vehicles, warships, boats, helicopters, buildings and commercial applications, police shields, guard booths, courthouses and more.

BALLISTIC MARINE GLASS

TAS currently fields windows and doors on the following boat programs: Iraqi Navy 35m, PB(X), MSV(L), CCB, Mark VI and various others. Our windows are built to withstand the most extreme conditions in the world.

TAS has become the market leader in ballistic marine glass due to our proprietary TAS1411 materials which doubles the lifespan of the window and fights against delamination. TAS partners up with MV2 to provide all of our boat programs with a turn key solution for the entire armor package. This includes design, development, drawings and installation guidance for both transparent and opaque armor. We also provide assistance in bid writing.

TAS is a specialist supplier of transparent armor. We work on everything from the design and prototype stage to full scale production. TAS produces framed and unframed windows, door glass, vision blocks, gunner protection kits and heated windshields.

BUILDINGS, POLICE SHIELDS AND COMMERCIAL USE

Retail, government buildings, guard booths, schools, hospitals, private homes, cash in transit vehicles and police shields.

TAS also manufactures BRG or bullet resistant glass for buildings. TAS offers UL 752 Levels 1-9 and we also have forced entry products to 15 and 30 minutes.

TAS offers solutions for commercial vehicles such as cash in transit CIT vehicles. We also have a number of qualified thicknesses and weights for police shields.

Research and development has been essential to our ability to launch new technologies and to improve the lifespan of our products. All of our products are put through rigorous testing before they are fielded. This starts with our initial in house ballistic testing and then moves to an outside Government approved ballistic lab for certification. We manage the ballistic and environmental qualification from start to finish.

STATE OF THE ART LAMINATION LINE

Clean Room, Automated Lay up, Automated bagging, Autoclave

All of TAS parts are manufactured in a state of the art lamination line. Parts are automatically cleaned prior to entering the temperature and humidity controlled clean room where they are then laid up via an automated robotic arm. This ensures that even with large over sized parts, there is virtually zero scissoring. Parts are then cooked in a Melco autoclave with sensor controls for full traceability.
